Don't really like that the kid is forced to play where he doesn't want to. Sucks for him. Not for ole miss
+1
I don't like this. If true, sucks for the kid.

Lester.... :smh:
Godchaux was committed to us for over a year. Ole Miss might have made a late push, but I doubt that he was "forced to play where he doesnt want to".
If he did send in his LOI signed by only him, i think its another Godchaux troll. Why would he send it in with just his signature when everyone there knew it had to be signed by his parents as well?
And why would he say what he said after he signed? It was something along the lines of... thanks Ole Miss but Im moving on to bigger and better things.

This may be a stupid question, but if you're 18 do you still have to have your parents signature to be official?

I need more confirmation of this story than that.
Same
The entire thing sounds silly. The kid knows the LOI means nothing without his parents signature. This could be bad/misinterpreted info.

I don't see why he'd troll them. Kind of tacky. Either way you're just guessing.
If he wants to be at lsu then that's fine.

Yes. All NCAA letters of intent require a parental signature if the athlete is under 21, regardless of marital status

He either was having trouble saying no to an Ole Miss recruiter and just faxed him a bad LOI out of not being able to tell him, or yeah this kind of sucks to get a player this way. Especially after LSU stuck with him after the injury and he even mentioned that he wouldn't do this to LSU after that.

Hes trolled a lot of schools the past few weeks.
But everyone knows the recruit and parents have to sign. Why would he just sign and send it in, when everyone knows its not valid.
And yea I guess I am just guessing. But so are you by saying he doesnt want to be here and was forced to come here...
We got his LOI, fully filled out and delivered. Then he made some great quotes after he signed, some slighting Ole Miss.

IMO, this is bullshite. I know in this instance it helped us, but the parents shouldn't be allowed to hold a kid hostage with this decision if they're no longer a minor. We would be frickin' pissed if Adoree's parents wouldn't sign an LOI to LSU. It's just shitty.

Personally, I think this is all an Ole Miss rumor to try to make their fanbase feel better about their weak class. Schools like Ole Miss and Arkansas are always jilted this time of year and stories like these start to make their rounds.
I am beyond skeptical of this story.

tre jackson's dad posted at least twice on this board yesterday that Davon was going to UF and there were rumors that he would go to Auburn too.
