The Ruger red labels just started back production this year and only in 12 currently. The 28 gauge was the gem of the Ruger line...

In my experience ruger fit and quality is meh, beretta win or browning are far superior
They shot well but the wood was just ok, finish meh, gunsmithing etc was just ok – if you could get a ruger at good price ( a padnah got a 12 ga red label essentially NIB for $500) - I would buy it but it would be my 2nd choice.
