Probably not, but he's in the conversation

Certainly the worst one with a max deal, and its not even close

we have the worst clutch 4th quarter player and the worst 4th quarter coach. A bad combination

He's hit 3 game winners so far.

Whatever Monty was calling in the 4th quarter was not an NBA offense.

What a joke. How many do you want him to drop in the 4th quarter?

Does AD get a pass for taking a bunch of terrible forces shots?

Gordon is a very tricky subject. Teams are not going to let him beat them at the end of games. 95% of this board could get away with devising defenses that stop the only 2 threats on the floor, especially when 1 of those is having an off night and getting manned up by Boris Diaw on defense.

Also, Danny Green is a pretty damn good defender. It sucks for Gordon that he is now the person asked to carry the load late in the games and the entire opposing team knows it. With a healthy roster, his role is even more questionable as it seems the plays run through Holiday late in the game.

In short, he does seem to come out passive in the second half for whatever reason. This seems to contribute to his lack of flow late in games. Then he's asked to turn it on in the face of adversity and fails more often than not.

Talent/Coaching/Fit/Aggressiveness...choose any of them and it at least provides a reasonable argument as to why he seems to disappear when we need him most.

I had the sound down when they showed Gordon riding the bike, and then he looked stiff as hell trying to play defense in the 4th. What did they say about him on the bike? Is this a new injury issue or does this happen all the time and is the reason we rarely get more than a few good spurts a game out of him?
