These are byproducts and waste that have value “as is” to a second, unrelated industry as they describe it.

quote:

We appreciate your interest in these steel discs. Below is the information about the steel and the person to contact to make a purchase. Good luck! “The 7/8" disc weighs 38#. I would like to price it at $10.00 each with a 10% discount for quantities of 10 or more plus the freight cost. The 1/2" disc weighs 21#. I would like to price it at $6.00 each with a 10% discount for quantities of 10 or more plus freight. “ Contact the Seller directly to place Order: Jon Simonsen in Iowa - bricklin.sii@evertek.net

Site I found this.

Just emailed the guy and got one of the 1/2" discs. They are 13 3/4" diameter. Just thought I'd share.

Do you think these are hard enough to withstand pistol rounds over a long duration? Do they list the hardness?

What's shipping on the disc you ordered, if you don't mind saying.

Not to derail the thread...but I've often wondered what the risk of ricochet is when shooting at steel plates.

Is there any appreciable ricochet risk?
