Hey Everyone

Just got a new Magnalite Classic set for Christmas and pretty excited. However, after the first couple uses the inside of the lids and some of the pots have some grayish splotching on them after boiling water or steam comes in contact.

I've since learned there are some issues with who is producing the Magnalite name and mine may not be the real deal.

Any ideas what this splotching could be or how to fix it?

Thanks!

Roll with it. It's from the minerals in the water. It's not harmful.

Mine are probably 50 years old and some look like that. Keep cooking. It ain't about pretty.

That's what I have heard. If you want Magnalite, find an old lady or an antiques store. I've been told it has been that way since the 90's.
