I have a masters in environmental sciences limited experience with it(just graduated) and a undergrad in biology 5 years of lab work. I am getting crickets as well wtf

Where did y'all intern at? Realize y'all are trying to get into a highly technical field with no technical experience.

Have you tried any consulting firms? I had the same quals as you coming out of grad school and had no problem.

So you think 5 years of lab work and a masters degree in environmental science should get you an oilfield job? wtf indeed...

You should have no problems getting into consulting. Are you dropping off resumes?

If you don't have practical knowledge of the O&G field, you are not going to get much interest

If you want to get in the O&G from the environmental side, you need experience in air permitting, water quality, risk, and HSE.

Lab work don't mean shite. Sorry.

I've been in consulting for almost 8 years and still cannot crack into the O&G field.
