It'll be a blast. Winter is one of the best times to go. No bugs, the vegetation is down so you don't have to break trail and you get good views, you can take better food cause you have refrigeration, and there's very few people in the woods to bother you. Also, you get a sense of pride from knowing you can go out in the weather and be comfortable.
