I've heard that Quinn is the fastest player in the class, but I saw somewhere that Quinn ran a 4.39 and LF ran a 4.35. Anyone know?

Quinn by the slightest of margins. LF is more elusive though.

Quinn is a long strider but I highly doubt LF ran 4.35 that's ridiculous. I say Quinn is faster though

Didn't see the 4.35 LF, but would not doubt he runs a sub 4.4.

However, Quinn also ran a 10.4 100m - which is near world class.

And, carrying only about 200 pounds, Quinn likely wins a footrace with LF 9/10 times at whatever distance you want to set.

ETA: Found LF's 100 meter time to win the finals - 10.68 - great, but not quite elite - and scary that he's bringing a deuce and a quarter.

4.35 is Desean Jackson type speed. So, I doubt that. Prob sits around the 4.4 - 4.45 area.

Anyone know what LF runs in the 40? I'm willing to bet he's a 4.5 guy.

Time wise, Quinn is most likely a little faster. On a track, Quinn is most likely a bit faster. On the football field in pads, ill take LF.

And Quinn is also 25+lbs lighter than LF.

Regardless, both are fast.

Probably Quinn is faster but only cause he a good bit lighter. Doesn't have near the elusiveness as LF but probably has straight line speed on him.

No way at 225 pounds does LF run a 4.35. Not saying he's not crazy fast cause he's one of the fastest I've seen at that weight. Just that 4.35 is hard to believe

Neither of them run 4.3's

They are both fast, Quinn being faster, but high school numbers are always off.

a 4.35 usually means a low 4.4 or something close to that.

Trindon Hollidays official time at the NFL combine was only a 4.34 and he is one of the fastest guys in the world.

I see that Quinn has some good weight on him as an incoming freshman. How does he do after the first hit? Is he a guy that has good speed and goes down on initial contact or does he break a lot of tackles and drag guys?

This article lists a 100 meter time of 10.4 for Quinn. I don't know if that is accutrack or hand held but that's fast regardless.

An article by James Smith at Nola.com states, "He runs a consistent 4.4-second 40-yard dash. There is no doubt that his size and speed combination is elite. When you factor in his explosive burst and lateral quickness, it is easy to see why Fournette boasts more than 100 scholarship offers." But that article is from October 2012.
