I agree he is spinning the negativity by pulling the racial card, but calling her a beast doesn't help you or the argument.

I dislike this man for his horrible policies and inability to lead as a president should. I dislike him because he is a complete liar and wreaks havoc upon the constitution. I don't like Obama because he is far from transparent and is dishonest and misuses the agencies he has influence over. Color has nothing to do with it unless it is red, because that is what I see out of anger when I see him or hear him speak.

Obama is race baiting?

I'm shocked! Shocked I tell ya!

He is easily the most divisive president we've ever had.

To be fair, he also said that many people blindly support him because of his skin, too.

President Barack Obama said that racial tensions may have softened his popularity among white voters within the last two years, according to a story posted on the New Yorker magazine’s website today.

As to that, I second these comments below the article:
quote:

Let me get this straight... This guy is in his second term as President and he believes that his popularity is down over the past 2 years because people just discovered that he is black???? okie dokie
quote:

Was he less black when his approval rating was 70%? Or was his incompetence less obvious

“There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president,” Obama said in the article by David Remnick, appearing in the magazine’s Jan. 27 edition.

“Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president,”

Your thread title is misleading. Nothing he said was incorrect. The article makes it seem like Obama thinks his approval is because of racism but that quote doesn't indicate that's his belief. It's the article's opinion.

I would agree that there are a select few who can't stand having a black president, and there are some who support him no matter what just because he is black.

“I would not let my son play pro football,” the article quotes Obama, the father of two daughters, as saying. When asked by Remnick how those dangers squared with his enjoyment of the game as a spectator, Obama said professional players are aware of the inherent risk in playing a full-contact sport.

The race shite notwithstanding (because I don't think anything he said in this article is outside the truth), this is hilarious.

I would not let my (presumably 21 year old) son play PROFESSIONAL football.

I have no problem watching the NFL because the players are PROFESSIONALS who know what they signed up for.

Come on UD...his 'social justice' ilk SYSTEMATICALLY MURDERD over a HUNDRED MILLION of their OWN citizens in the last Century for their grand cause (Authoritarian Socialist State)...do you really think that playin the race card would be off their moral-compass table.

We can't stop this runaway ('angel of light'/pseudo-altruist/lie) train; you can see it in the cards. It's gonna be what/who's left standing, buddy. Always is. Mother Nature and God workin hand in hand to separate the wheat form the chaff...philosophically, spiritually, and in the flesh.

Worthy challenge.

Full comment from the linked article...read it as you like.

Fact

quote:

“There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president,”

Fact, however I would argue that there are exponentially more people who dislike him because of his policies not his skin color.

Sometimes I hear him speak and think he may be a genuinely good guy on a casual level. But there's always that one sentence or that one statement he makes that isn't necessary and that he probably should have kept to himself.

No, people don't approve of his socialist policies, his total lack of regard for the Constitution, his dictatorial style and his obvious hatred of white people.

He really is one of the dumbest people to grace the WH. Did he forget that he won the Presidency - also as a black dude?

Well to be fair he also said
quote:

“Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president,”

So all he said was there are some people who like and hate me only because of my skin color
