Farm raised 'sang doesn't command anywhere near the price of wild ginseng. I own a good bit of acreage in the mountains of North Carolina and poachers digging ginseng is a constant problem. They can totally eradicate the plant from an entire mountainside in an afternoon. It takes decades to reestablish IF it reestablishes at all.
