You will hear the fuel pump click on. Have someone try to start the car and have your ear by the gas tank. Right before the car starts you should hear the mechanical pump whirl. If you don't hear it then it's the fuel pump.
But like others have said.. probably just gummed up.

Check the emergency fuel shut-off switch inside the passengers side fuse box opening.
If that's fine.. then just give it a tuneup.. fuel filter, plugs etc. clean out the throttle body.

Heard the clicks and the whirl. Will check the fuel shutoff fuse, perhaps the new battery burned it out. Got a mechanic buddy coming over to take a gander at it. Will probably end up getting a tune up.
