CJ just sang a John Mayer song, Gravity. It wasn't as good as John Mayer but I'm glad he didn't sing country.

Jessica-good song choice but her stage presence still sucks. Daaamnn the judges kinda ripped her!

I want to connect but just doesn't happen...

I actually enjoyed CJ's performance more than Caleb's and Jess tonight.

I'm behind.
Caleb's music isn't my fave. He's talented but I'm getting annoyed at his personality.

Jess could have done so much better with that sing choice. It was a good one. She just can't connect.

I want Sam to do well.

He continues to be everything I hate about today's Southern male in his 20's and early 30's.

Alex performance was good but it was so damn predictable... I liked his Police performance last week and want more of that.

Now I'm looking forward to Sam.

CJ was good. Dexter was the same as always and boring.

Yeah, there's a lot of predictability in most of the contestants.

Jena kills it though, no matter what she's singing, every time. She's going to win this whole thing.

And the trio sucked.

Caleb didn't do himself any favors picking that sing for Jena. Great performance.

I'd feel more complimented by Harry than any judge. He doesn't dish them out. He's thoughtful in his judging. Good for him.

I thought Harry was Harry as always and I still
adore him!!!

Agree with you on the favorites. Please, Lawd, let Dexter go back to Bama tomorrow night. It's past time.

he came close to offending the two other judges tonight when he started talking about he's not the kind of judge that gives standing ovations, but he caught himself.

Meh... He just does it differently and he's talked about before when he said he doesn't watch practice. I like the way he does it. Way more sincere.

Yeah... I don't know if its a HCJ factor but the past few years it seemed the judges had agendas with certain contestants but I don't have that feeling this year.

Also people seem to be down on the contestants this year but I think that is the negative result of having so many good/ successful performers in years past. Not every season is going to produce multi platinum record stars much less a single one. I mean even look at last year in that Candace Glover was the most talented singer but can she produce a marketable song/ album?

Although Caleb is a definite front runner there are 2 or 3 others that are competitive and can win Idol this year. By this time last year there wasn't much doubt Candace was going to win.
