Bought it the other day and it had only had about 5 rounds shot through it. Yes,i know you remember that thread so let's not dwell on the fact it may have had more that 5 shot through it.
Anyway,I'm not limp wristing it at all, have 3 clips. Two factory and one aftermarket. Also have 3 different types of ammo and it will just randomly jam no matter what clip or ammo is in the gun at the time. Ran through 160 rounds yesterday and it jammed up no less than 7 times on me. Doesn't really give me an easy feeling about the gun.
All three clips also seem to fit a little lose. I am hitting the butt of the clip pretty hard to make sure it's seating all the way in but there's like a 1/8th inch gap between the bottom of the clips and the butt of the gun.

Ohh,BTW,This is a GEN 3 9mm if it makes any difference.

I see a couple problems here. And while I am genuinely trying to help, gaining a little knowledge can't hurt. First off...the Glock does not have clips. It has magazines and secondly your magazines fit fine. Also a Glock 17 is a full size pistol. The subcompact Glock 9mm is the 26. Glock numbers their pistols according go the ordered number of it's patents. But the Glock 17 is larger than your 19 and there is nothing small about it.

Now as for the jams, what kind are they? Failure to feed (ftf), failure to eject (fte), stove pipe, double feed? 90%+ of all stoppages are magazine related. All of my mags have a number on them so that I can keep track if I have any problems. Put a piece of masking tape on the bottom of your mags and pay attention to which one(s) are jamming. If it is a failure to extract you cab cheaply purchase a new extractor.

Lastly if you were shooting reloads try some factory ammo. Maybe the load in the reloads wasn't hit enough. If all thus fails contact Glock or find a smith.

When you say jam, do you mean FTE or FTF? I heard about this in the Gen 4's, but not the Gen 3's.

my nephew had similar probs with his Glock. Turned out he had bought some shitty ammo, army surplus or some such. Once good rounds acquired, no problems.

Disassemble your gun and check to see if your ejector has 30274 printed on it. This is supposed to be the "good" ejector. I believe the faulty ejector number is 336. The late Gen 3 models had ejection problems. Also check your recoil spring to see if it has 0-3-4 printed on it. This is supposed to be the "good" spring. When the Gen 4 Glocks first came out, Glock was still producing the Gen 3 and Gen 4 Glock 19s at the same time. Glock was installing the early Gen 4 Glock 19s with faulty ejectors as well as the late Gen 3s that they were producing at the same time.

The crazy thing is all Glock 23 Gen 4s are reported to run flawlessly. I have about 800 rounds through my Glock 23 with zero jams. Hope this helps....

When you say it's jamming. Is it not ejecting, not feeding the next round or is it stovepipeing? I just bought a Gen 4 19 and haven't had a single issue. Send it in and get it fixed
