I was on the phone with Chase the other day cancelling my CSP, and when I asked what my downgrade options were was informed that I could downgrade to a no fee Sapphire. When I replied that I thought they discontinued that card entirely, he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. I already have a no fee Sapphire aonit didn't matter to me, but still.

So, PSA, the no fee Sapphire is a great card to downgrade to of you don't already have one.

I'm happy to have my wife be on the slower end of card apps. My 2nd United card (not second fee, second time I've had card) fee just hit and with 5/24 it's going to be hard to ever get back in on it. The availability of awards holding the card is just light years better. I figure maybe I might hold it so my wife can slowly churn them...

What's everyone's travel arrangements these days? I still have Peru coming up over July 4th and just booked a week in South Africa on Ethiopian for next March. Biz one way and Econ back because my wife couldn't spare one more day for biz return. Should be "fun"

After getting the CSR I downgraded my CSP to the Freedom Unlimited and my INK Business to the no fee INK cash card.
