I know I will, I just don't think I will have a $30k+ good time. It is her money though and I have no claim. Somewhat related, I made a powerpoint showing her monthly income and spending by category. I may not have to worry about a wedding going forward

We had mixed our assets once we were engaged. While from the possessor/legal/headache standpoint that may not be a good idea, I knew we'd get married. In any event, mixing assets and budgeting is definitely hard at first for some.

I don't know how you define "$30,000 good time" but I will say this, if done right, $30,000 guarantees pretty much you will at least have a good time. I see why celebrities and rich folk throw $30k parties all the time. When I go out to have beers or what not, I enjoy the conversation but I can't say I always come home thinking it was better than staying home all night or worth the $100.

If I had the money, I'd drop that a few times a year. "Making memories!"

Just got a nifty little paper mailer for my Citi AA card. 10 purchases of $15 or more for 2,500 points if purchases made by September 30, 2015.

Nothing crazy but I'll take it. Perhaps there are bigger offers out there for some of y'all.

ETA: If I could figure out how the hell to enroll

ETA2: I'm an idiot. Says so right on the letter.

In any event, I just might pay my auto insurance in 10 $15 increments.
