Bangkok is crazy busy, but there's fun stuff to do. If you like beaches, Phuket, Krabi, and Koh Samui are some great spots. I lived in Phuket and it was pretty cool, you can do beaches or hikes in the mountains. Kinda easy to hit a bunch of different stuff up.

If you like laid back, green, mountains, then Chiang Mai or Rai were awesome. I really enjoyed Chiang Mai, we stayed at the Le Meridien. In Chiang Rai, we stayed at Anantara which had an elephant training camp on property. We went to Burma and Laos just to say we hit the Golden Triangle
