I'm considering using my points this fall and take a trip to London

Hyatt Regency there is $600 a night, so two free nights there if you want to have fun isn't too shabby huh?

I'd really look into the routing options that United gives you with the two open jaws and stopover. You can do some really neat things with that if you have the time.

If you're only going for a week, then I think just London (and its surroundings) is fine. I'm going to Barcelona (out of MSY) for a week over New Year's, with a 3 day stopover in DC to visit my fiancee's family for Christmas as an example. Whole ticket cost for two people was pretty much $0.

My Business card lets me manufacture points if I need them. Even after that trip I already have a enough to fly us to our honeymoon the year after. Just trying to get enough for half of it to be in business class to give us that flexibility if we need it, since you can't always find Saver Economy on your dates or don't want to torture yourself if they are there.

Booking hotels with the Chase Preferred on their website is pretty awesome. Most rates are $40-$60 cheaper than a regular night when booking with points
