CBS Projections for 2014 Class: LSU Players

The LSU Tigers that are projected on the CBS Draft(Just the 1st page of each position):
Ego Ferguson #6 DT #65 Overall 2nd Round
Anthony Johnson #10 DT #107 Overall 3rd Round
JC Copeland #2 FB #185 Overall 5-6 Round
Lamin Barrow #7 ILB #141 Overall 4th Round
La'El Collins #8 OT #59 Overall 2nd Round
Zach Mettenberger #7 QB #82 Overall 2-3 Round
Jeremy Hill #8 RB #104 Overall 3rd Round
Craig Loston #4 SS #130 Overall 3-4 Round
Odell Beckham Jr #6 WR #34 Overall 1-2 Round
Jarvis Landry #9 WR #50 Overall 2nd Round
LINK
WR, RB, and OT class is heavy up top. It could benefit OBJ, Landry, Hill, and Collins to come back. I think Mettenberger was rated lower because of the injury. I also thought Johnson when all was said and done would be much higher than a 3rd Rounder.
Good luck to the Tigers that go. Welcome back to the Tigers that stay.

No it couldn't

Those projections are in line with what I was thinking except I think Johnson will do well at the combine and move up and I don't know if Copeland gets drafted. Barrow seems a little high as well

comes back and has a good combine
Do you know what his injury was?

OBJ and Landry will not jump Sammy Watkins, Mike Evans, Marquise Lee, Kelvin Benjamin, Allen Robinson, Brandin Cooks, and Jordan Matthews. The last two for Landry.
OBJ could be one of the top of the WR class next year if he returned.

Edited out Mettenberger. Didn't think how long an ACL therapy goes.

That is around where Barrow is projected by pretty much everything I've seen. He has the advantage of being versatile enough to play inside or outside.

But he will be going there and interviewing, etc. He can only help his stock and answer any lingering questions about the UGA incident. So it could help his stock.

I agree, no way OBJ and Landry benefit from coming back.

Collins at 59 is definitely a reach

Beckham and Landry aren't getting any taller or faster if they come back. Nor are they going to have a better year statisticly than they had this year. Their "stocks" are as high as they will get.

Why did it seem like Copeland didn't play towards the end of the season? I may have just blocked him out but it seems like after his fumble he was on the bench. I don't remember seeing him play in the bowl at all.

I know at Ole Miss he sat out because of a concussion from slipping in the shower. Came back in the Alabama game. It was said after the fumble he didn't feel right and pulled himself.
Don't remember him too much after that. That's what was said though. I don't have a link.

The very best to them all.

That's not all that goes into it..... A big part of where your picked is availability, risk, attitude, and how much you can bring to a specific team, like if they need that spot and you fit it perfectly.

For 1, Copeland isn't all that great
and B, do NFL teams draft FB's? seems like a waste of a draft pick if they do.

seriously why is ODB predicted 1st while JL is predicted 2nd so frequently?
