Everyone that has skied could say this their first time.

Fair enough, it's not for everyone.

When they do get good snow, the Outback and North bowl trees are amazing

We got about 7-10" of snow while I was there. The tree skiing was the tits. Breck got a monster dump one night though.

Africa. I'll be at my house in a week though. Halfway between Vail and Aspen, season pass on my jacket, and 6 weeks of no work and no obligations.

We hit MusicFest this year and it was my first time to Steamboat. I love tree skiing so it was a good trip, but there's still something about Summit County I prefer.

Can anyone who has skied Jackson Hole or Big Sky give their opinions of the Mountains and towns.

That was true in the 90's. The new ski technology has people switching to skis. The ski lodges log the percentages of skiers versus boarders and they clearly show the percentage of snow boarders going down and skiers going up.

The one advantage to boarding is price. The equipment costs half as much.

Where would y'all recommend going for someone who is basically a beginner (I've been twice over 10 years ago but am in good shape).

Don't want to have to wait in long lines for the lift. Also when to go...December or Mardi Gras? Planning to go next year

I'going to Snowbird in late February for the first time. Staying on the mountain at The View. Can you paint some highlights of those two ski areas? Or at least tell me what to avoid? We're expecting big snow.

Went to Keystone for second time last March, late March actually, for "spring" skiing.....was blizzard like. Frigid, but tons of snow and the outback was awesome. Heading to Copper in late February, hope the snows keep coming.

Neither really. I am a directional driller for the moment. I've been told that will soon change (if the money is right).
