What can we say? That's what happens when you still own the series over a team.

ETA: I guess sorry for making fun of a hire when you didn't learn your lesson the first time?

So you would take an unproven coordinator over a guy who went 41-9 here and went to 2 BCS Bowls in his career? The momentum will keep going. Our offense next year would be sick with the talent we have coming back.

How good is your offense going to be without Bridgewater?

You're right. It will keep going. And then it will go right off a cliff after he jumps just like he did last time. And it WILL happen again.

Gardner, Quick, Brown, Dyer, Parker, Harris, Christian. Looks good to me.

This man is named Bobby Petrino... that is a very important point to make.

Charlie Strong was this exact thing before he got hired.

Normally I'd agree, but the competition will be much tougher next year... so we have no way of knowing. Petrino doesn't exactly have a history of building programs, but they do tend to fall into an irreparable pile of shite once he leaves... so he has that going for him.

You're counting Dyer when he had to go see a specialist for the injury that kept him out for part of this season? Do they even know if he'll be serviceable?

Like I said though, how good will it be without Bridgewater?

But he isn't anymore. He has turned out to be a first class dirtbag.

I know. I'm agreeing with you. IMO Jurich should've stuck with the proven formula.

I really hope this turns out false.

I see no good coming from a 2nd Petrino term.

I asked Rick Pitino tonight about the possibility of Bobby Petrino returning to UofL. His response, "I highly doubt that will happen."

Pitino just doesn't want to share the after hours restaurant talent.

I would watch. Bob would have that offense flying high quickly. Just make sure he can hire a damn fine DC. And remember you will pay a very high price post BMFP, but y'all know that already.

I'd hire Petrino. Louisville will not regret it and I don't regret that we hired him. He's a really good coach. Our AD doesn't regret it either. He got to play his "integrity card". It's a joker.

Yea, I'm sure you would like your highest paid employee to lie to your face about something potentially illegal as well.

No. I wouldn't exploit the firing on a national stage under the guise of "integrity" while parlaying it into a mission of flaunting the word in an effort to constantly remind the world that my shite doesn't stink.

Jeff Long calling out Steve Spurrier on Twitter for not chastising a kid for a speeding ticket tells me all I need to know.
