Bottom line is that he is a total guess.

Oh yeah? After following him for 3 years, one game in college and you are clueless? And another thing, he didn't have a month to prepare, these kids get a Christmas break just like everyone else. Its more like 2 weeks.

He will be fine next year. He won the backup job very quickly, and Rivers didn't look too bad in the Spring game. Rettig looked like I would have and I had 8 beers in me.

Trust me, we don't want Harris starting for us next year. He was Cam's choice, and with the proper development, will be scary good. In the meantime, Jennings is very talented, smart, and motivated kid. That 99 yard drive wasn't luck. He showed pocket presence, scrambling ability and touch on that drive. Once he settles into a groove, we will like the results.

You're right. It's a total of 12 practices or something like that.

Agree that an assessment at this point is premature.

1. I was surprised that he did not run the ball more against Iowa, but maybe he was told not to.
2. Mett's first year as a starter was average, second year he was great, especially on third down.
3. I have no idea whether or not Cam can coach Jennings up, and how long it might take.

I think the bigger problem at LSU is the continuation of early departures. Sure, it happens everywhere, but it happens more at LSU. If LSU can hang on to Hill, that will go a long way to helping the 2014 QB.

I predict that the defense will be about the same as this year, given that they will replace both DT's and safety.

1) Roger is the most realistic poster in this thread and actually sounds unbiased.

after reading several posts by you in several threads, you are very biased and make some delusional assumptions

you you have to be a little objective to be taken seriously
sure, shite happens....but that TD drive was about as lucky as they come (save Bluegrass Miracle, Flutie Hail Mary, AU/UGA 2013)
