21-0 more painful.
And its not even close.
We lost in the worst possible most painful and embarrassing way.
I don't even like to talk about 2011 because, unless you are an LSU fan, 1/9 is all anyone remembers. Its like that game erased the entire season.

A program changer.
Yes. One way or another. Looks like "another" at this point.

Obviously losing 21-0 lingers longer bc it's all anyone can focus on even 2 years later and to the detriment of the current fan-base mindset.

21-0 but that game wasn't even that close, bama should have scored about 35 or 42

I was impressed with Auburn, they fought hard and played well no shame in that loss. I still dont know what happened to us in the title game.

Basically
21-0 = embarassing
Last night = more painful
In the long run, you can look back somewhat fondly on a close exciting game your team lost (look how many folks still wax nostalgic about the '79 USC game).
I'm not sure there will ever be a point where I will have one fond recollection of 21-0.

AU loss more painful.
Although LSU's was extra painful bc it destroyed such an epic season whereas AU didn't have such a season.

Blowing a lead hurts and will always haunt those who like to "what if".
Never pulling your clueless QB and never explaining what was going on behind the scenes hurts as well but easier to get over since we beat them on their own field.
I was more upset by the coaching and unfair system than the score. I think it would've been closer but the defense finally threw in the towel when there were no changes made. I felt we beat ourselves more than our opponent.

i slowly saw Marshall turn in to jordan jefferson last night. he had the deer in the headlights look and seemed to not want the ball in his hands at all in the second half. Some people thought it was play calling, I thought it was bad reads by Marshall.
To answer your question though: 21-0 was worse cause it was against us. if we lost close, i'd probably say close though

21-0 was far more painful. Not even close.

I was there 1/9, and I feel like most LSU was shafted for the NC and yes it hurts more not sure I will ever get over it honestly set the program back 3 years

In a blowout I have more time to get over it. It's a slow letdown versus a kick in the nads.

Man I didnt see that, Marshall is lightyears ahead of Jefferson in every phase.

Gus to AU from the bottom of a dumpster fire to the NCG with less talent than LSU in one fricking year. It's a bit of a difference.

Rather lose like last night. Auburn performed well in this game. Our team did not in our game.

just meant his demeanor, not ability.

21-0 was demoralizing and we still haven't recovered from that loss. Auburn played a good game and they had obviously prepared for it.
