exactly. not every true freshman needs a year to get their nerves settled and adjust. we'll se what BH is all about, has better tools than AJ. dont forget about rettig either, he got redshirted cause he was coming off a bad injury the year before and was just scrawny as hell.

Harris has some rough footwork and accuracy. He needs a redshirt just as bad as Rettig did last year

This, until proven otherwise. Harris IMO has more QB IQ then AJ, and CC will have plenty time to get him ready because i believe Harris will pick it up fast.

I hope a solid QB is available. Kinda of surprised Rivers lost the backup role to a true freshman. That worries me. I know it is one game, but AJ is a pro style, drop back QB. Not a dual threat. He was bad at making decisions. We have two stud WRs, just delivery the ball. He had plenty of time. So, it will be interesting come Spring with QB. Defense will be better, Offense will need to be run happy (70% run).

I completely agree. I don't care who the qb is between Harris and Jennings as long as they are decent. I would rather see dupre and Quinn win the jobs at receiver. If Washington can bulk up then he is gonna be a monster. If hill comes back then we may never need to pass one time all season.

I mean he might be pro style, but i saw that arky game and aj can move regardless of what his scout sheet says

Even though we lose the best combo receiver package in college football and a very productive QB, I still see the offense next season not skipping a beat. It all starts with the OL and we should be better in that department. We have the talent here and coming in to pick up right where we left off.

All u guy's worrying about who is going to be qb, we had better worry about playing Wisconsin first game. They will put 9 in the box & make our inexperienced qb beat them.

And Wisky won't be the only team to do this. We will see this all season, if Cam doesn't throw the ball enough to back teams up. Obviously we aren't dealing with pro bowlers here, but Cam's offenses in San Diego threw to the tight end and to Tomlinson out of the backfield a ton. If we are going to run as much as it looks like we will, I hope to see a lot of that thrown in as well
