Well let's see...who was the OC in that game? Our play calling was horrible. Our O-Line was horrible, anemic really.

This year we have a great OC, healthy and much improved O-Line, play calling improved tenfold.

Lots of sacks in both games. But the Clemson game we had a quarterback with no mobility and this one we have a qb with a ton of mobility that took sack after sack.

That is where I hoped for more. He had one play where he stopped just shy of the line and made a play. However, the rest if the game he wouldn't move around. That is what will get better with more game action.

The play calling in that game relied on Mett's arm and he failed to complete a 2 yard pass that would have sealed the game. He also STARTED THE WHOLE YEAR and this was against Clemson's defense and he was a junior who at one time learned at QB under Richt. Perfect weather conditions too, but I agree that pass blocking was bad. Hill averaged 10 ypc and 2 TDs on 12 atts though so those were the same.

It's his first start ever and it was probably told to him that he shouldn't run (possibly because the want to RS Rettig and idk about Rivers). He is still a young guy so it's to be expected.
