Tiger fans who think Bama is so far ahead of us

Hey guess what? Despite Bama's 2 ships in past 4 years, and 3 overall in BCS era, LSU has 2 of our own.
So Bama leads us 3-2 in nat. championships in the modern era (2000 and beyond).
Bama this year is 11-2.
LSU is 10-3.
Bama over 4 years is 46-7.
LSU over 4 years is 44-9.
LSU and Bama both have one SEC championship each during that same 4 year timeframe.
And, Bama lucked into natty title game opportunity against us, which was b.s. and completely a fluke... I will always feel ripped off as an LSU fan from that year, as Bama benefitted so greatly from media obsession. It got them a rematch for sure. We go 1-1 that year v Bama, and they got the glory.
My point is one we all know, but choose to ignore because we always want to be no. 1 (which I understand).
But for our fans to unfairly degrade our head coach, and act like little p*****s about the fact that Bama has barely edged us out in success, its disheartening and upsetting.
As LSU fans, we should all feel very very lucky. I do.
Life as a tiger football fan has been good to us all.
Just to edit to add what someone else posted in this thread:
SEC records over 4 year timeframe:
Bama is 26-6 (one SEC title)
LSU is 25-7 (one SEC title)
One last edit someone else mentioned in this regard as well:
Football is a game of scheduling just as much as coaching and inches.
Lets be honest: we play a tougher SEC slate than Bama. Period.
This year only good teams Bama had to play from SEC: tx am, lsu, and aubbie. (Bama gets Kentucky)
LSU had to play tx am, bama, aubbie, and georgia.

Just to be fair, LSU didn't exactly bust the doors down to make it into that second nc game.

That's all fine and dandy, but the last couple of times we played them head to head, they embarrassed us.
So sorry if I choose to not live vicariously through Oklahoma.

That is ALL that matters in the end. Sorry but their 2 Ships vs our none in the same amount of time still does not sit well.

got utterly destroyed and embarrased by a team that shouldn't have been there

lol. There is no edge. Bama is head and shoulders a better program and there's about to be another bama coach with more rings than Les.

Wish more people on this board thought like you.
Why, you probably even stay through the whole game. :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers: :geauxtigers:

If Alabama plays Georgia when they would have back in Sept, it would likely have been a lose. This is before Georgia loses all the players and is a top 10 team, Alabama at that time was still struggling to get is offensive line and dbs in order.
LSU was going to Kentucky which very likely a win.
Both would have swapped records, Bama 10-3, LSU 11-2.
Football is a game of scheduling just as much as coaching and inches.

Why only go back 4 years? maybe cause Saban was unbeaten in that 5th year, and it would have blown your agenda.

What was the Bama vs LSU score this yr? We lost by 3 Touchdowns.

Saban owns One of the Two and the only One miles can claim is when he blew 2 games. (no other team in the bcs era won a ship with 2 losses.)
I love LSU, but our coach leaves something to be desired.
