Both games are scheduled for 7:00 on Saturday. If me memory is correct, LSU has made an adjustment in the past due to a Saints conflict. But if LSU game is slated for TV, it may be impossible to move it .

I hope they change it. Love my Tigers, but I'm not missing an NFL playoff game for a thumping of Rhode Island.

I don't remember them ever doing this and would be surprised if they did.

They should definitely consider this. I can remember back 2001 our SEC home basketball opener was against Bama.

This was coming off a Sweet 16 season, we had started 9-1 with only a loss on the road to Arizona.

But the game overlapped with a Saints playoff game.

Kids run out to a crowd of maybe 3000. You could see the disappointment on their faces.

Then Lamont Roland got hurt and the year went downhillm from there.

I'd actually be surprised if they didn't change the time.

Is the game on cst or espn? If cst, it might be moved, if espn, no chance. Espn hates lsu.

LSU should show the Saints game on the PMAC video board without interruption.

I don't ever remember LSU making an adjustment in one of their games to accomodate a Saints game, nor do I think they will do so here. It's a shame that the Saints game will conflict with the BBall game, but I don't understand why anyone would think LSU would shift their schedule around to accomodate a pro team, in another city, in another sport, playing a game away from their home city. LSU's attendance will suffer from it, but it is what it is.

I can't decide which is more boring, a NFL game or a basketball game?

Wouldn't surprise me at all if they try and move it. It would make sense.

I remember missing the Saints@Vikings in January 2001 to see Alabama@LSU at PMAC. That was the game where Rod Grizzard was a dick.
