He could be saving it. Id also like to see us surprise a team with a zone in the second half. We could be a nasty 2-3 trapping zone team. I love that we man people up but i think tweaks in our d to ramp up pressure would be deadly

Watched much college basketball this year? There is no one team that is head and shoulders above everybody else. The national championship is up for grabs again this year. Its going to be whoever is the hottest at the end of the year. A lot of teams have a shot.

Wanted to come and drop my opinion on today's game.
We played by far our best game of season. My POTG was Quarterman who made this team run tonight. 9pts and 9asst is very impressive in 22 minutes.
No one played bad and Shortess hit a three. Great night.

Realistically, I'm upset that we lost 2 games. Should have beat UMass, should have beat Memphis. Would've had a shot at OK State and would be 11-0 or 10-1.
Do you guys really think its a far reach for this team to get into top 10 and a 2-3 seed?
I know I don't.
And for comparison, who thought Missouri/Auburn would play SECCG in football???

Yes. Big reach. I think with our schedule, a 5 seed would be the highest we could go. Still think 7-10 is most likely.
Even if we get into top 20 I don't think we get a top 4 seed.

If you are comparing mizzou and auburn in the SECCG, then it's a HUGE reach. No one expected them to do shite even 5 games into the year.

You're not the first one that has noticed we have some great pieces to the puzzle...
It's December. This is the first really truly complete game we've played (IMHO). So many variables to account for, they're not worth listing. Let's just take a few deep breaths before we start saying we're a dark horse to win it all.

Big stretch. As SOS said, 7-10 is not unreasonable. I love the enthusiasm, but we haven't gotten to SEC play yet. The OOC schedule was about doing enough to put them in position to make the NCAAT with a strong conf. performance. Win he next 2 to get to 10-2, and no one will have any reason to complain.

When all said and done we will be 3rd or 4thbest team in SEC this year. A great step up for the Tigahs. Next year will be the year I expect us to be ion par with Florida and Kentucky

7-10 is very unreasonable. This team IS better than 12 teams in the SEC. Kentucky and Florida are both playing subpar ball thus far and don't scare me.
