I think time to gel is an excuse. We have to quit acting like how this team plays now is how it will play if they can string 20+ completely healthy games together. What I'm worried about is we keep going like we're going to about 30-35, and then finish off the season strong 14-3 but still just miss the playoffs. What do you do with that? Assume they finally get it and keep Monty based on one hot streak?

Well the last 15 games of the season looks like:

@ ATL
vs MIA
vs BKLN
vs LAC
vs UTAH
@ SAS
vs SAC
@ DEN
@ UTAH
@ POR
vs PHX
@ OKC
@ HOU
vs OKC
vs HOU

I'd be pretty damn happy to drop 3 or less of those games

Very easy to call a slow start for this team. The key is can they figure things out in the coming months.

Come on now. You'd rather the team lose than keep Monty? You may have gone full Rantard.

Everyone wants to win now. The roster has potential, but, unfortunately, team building takes time.
