Our defense wasn't bad. We just didn't create turnovers.

If our defense was ranked 20th but actually created turnovers people would be singing a completely different tune

If our defense was number one in yards and points allowed people would be singing a different tune, too. It was what it was.

I expect LSU's defense to be better than advertized. You played against some pretty good offensive ball clubs. Those games hurt the rankings.

One teams rank versus another teams' rank is only directionally usefull but certainly not definative.

I brought this up earlier in the season, we have absolutely no playmakers on defense, none. I have a feeling White will be one in the future, but we just didn't have that this year. No ball hawks, no ball strippers, nobody to get in the backfield and blow some shite up. Our D line was weak as shite the whole year save 1 or 2 games.
