Well after over a year of waiting for my rifle to be completed and researching it more than I thought humanly possible I finally got to burn some powder in my new 6.5.
My last group was a 10 shot group at 300 yards, I laid a quarter over the 10 holes in the paper. I have NEVER shot a group of that nature much less with a barrel that really isn't broken in yet. I can't wait to shoot it again! It seems to me all the fuss over this newer round is warranted.

I hear its a great round. What type of rifle are you shooting it from?

What will you be using it for?

Sounds fun. The 6.5 is def for real. Give us the specs on your rifle.
FTR, barrel break in is largely rumored to be BS. As a matter of fact, I have read articles by a legendary barrel maker (can't remember each one) and he explained how any barrel is losing accuracy with every bullet down the tube. It really made a lot of sense. Just throwing that out there.
