I am against the STTDB. I do think it's severely unoriginal and dumb.
That being said, the student section is the only thing keeping tiger stadium worth a frick. Those "old rich people" are boring as shite and sit on their hands the entire game. I'm not willing to sacrifice the majority of tiger stadiums noise for a few bad words 2-3 times per game at the most.
I would love a 1st quarter silence protest. It would mind frick everyone and and give the "old rich people" more shite to complain about.

As a student that consistently chants obscenities at football games, I feel safe because the rant has told me that Joe Alleva can't fix anything

When you are a representative of the university (student, professor, administrator or coach), and you are at a university sanctioned event, and your actions knowingly demean or defame the the reputation of the university you are supposed to be representing, the executives of the university have a right..no, a responsibility, to make certain that similar future action by you is not permitted.

Clean it up and kick them out. Sounds like a plan to me. Also find out who the no shows are and the ones that consistently leave early and give their tickets to people who want to stay and support the team the entire game.

This is the mythical fan made up by the rant. The fan that would stay and support the team does not exists. All of those fans are already in the stadium.
