Nick saban did nice job getting that pay raise. Les was less crafty and just came forward to ask for one.

Let's see if miles takes the media route next time.

You're saying his contract shouldn't be honored?

I have mixed feelings. And I'm a huge Les supporter. Or at least I am on here.

I think Miles would have to agree to those terms.

Of course he would.

Ehh.

I'm not saying we should just pay someone the minimum.

More like a 3/4 loss a year coach. While losing to UAB

One of the dumbest Rantard mantras. Saban has obviously improved and bettered himself as a coach over the years. Has Miles?

Sure give us 3 of 4 and 5 consecutive BCS bowls - No Problem.
But the Peach and Outback Bowl level is not going to cut it forever.
Some of the assistants are overpaid while more productive coaches are probably not paid enough. Miles needs to handle it appropriately.

Saban's salary went up after losing the SEC West this year. Does Saban's salary go up again if he loses the West again next year?

He would deserve it. Right now, he doesn't deserve a penny more than what he's being paid.

Meaning Freeze/Stoops wage? C'mon.
Which SEC coach down the salary list is as accomplished in the last decade as our coach with 2 NC appearances and 2 SEC titles?

les has an economics degree from u of mich. this demands almost the highest iq.
cognitive intelligence is separate, but is greatly enhanced by a gifted or higher iq.
cognitive intelligence is what wins championships.

miles' ci is demonstrated by his 80% winning record. ci grows with experience.

just like ns' ci has grown, I believe lm's ci has been growing. lm's ci will continue to grow.

please also take into LUCK, which (starting w/ pp's interception) has been tilted by the sec/slive.

if you don't see the difference, you demonstrate low iq and therefore will never understand cognitive intelligence growth.

one great cog iq builder is a positive mental attitude. some people are not smart enuf to be positive.

The "pro Miles crowd" is just delusional. Both sides have their "pathetic" fans. Miles has proven to be a winner, but do you sunshine pumpers honestly believe that what Miles has done at LSU compared to what Saban did here makes him the better coach? THAT is being delusional. Try taking a look at what has happened lately, and if you are satisfied with what LSU has done under Miles, then you are selling the potential of LSU pretty short IMO.

I can guarantee you that if LSU wins another national championship under Miles, people will be complaining that he is not worth it.

Not sure how autocorrect changed it to that, but it definitely changed what I was saying completely.

I don't think any college coach is worth 7+ million.
