If so, is Les worth Saban money plus $1? Ouch if true.

I think Leslie's clause, if it exists, is just pertaining to the sec if I remember right.

How big of a payraise is Saban getting from Bama?

That dude on finebaum forgot to include the fact that les would need to win a title to get paid that much.

I started this exact thread yesterday and nobody seems to be paying the question any mind right now with all this other going on. I know a lot of coaches have this in their contract, will be interesting to see all of this play out.

no it only kicks in if he wins the NC. He has to win it again for it to kick in again

i think its just highest paid in the SEC.....i could be wrong though

either way...he has to win another NC, in which case he'd be worth it.

The LSU board still has to approve it, if LSU wins it and Saban is receiving $10 million per year I can tell you now the board will not approve that much for a LSU head coach, there would be some renegotiation and if Saban reups for Bama I would not be shocked if that contract is reworked. Unlike Saban, Miles is not money hungry. Saban better hope he wins about 3 more in the next 5 years because the West is only getting tougher.
