smart move to start cousins against Dallas in two weeks. he will throw up 450 yards passing and look like Dan marino against that siv of a defense. thus raising his trade value ala matt flynn

He's always seemed like a huge douche to me

Well, I guess RG3 can say he has something in common with Drew Brees now.

Man the MSB loves them some white QB. Also doesn't take much to assign deep character flaws to a black qb. Gotta love subtle racism

Maybe with Cousins at QB, Kyle will adjust his play calling and avoid calling plays that the other team knows are coming before they even run them.

RG3 has been deactivated for the rest of the season. Maybe this thread should be moved to the Coaching Changes board.

I got to see the kid throw last year when he had to fill in against ATL.
Cousins is a good qb. I think he could start now on a few other teams and make them instantly better.

In a Wednesday news conference announcing a quarterback change, Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan consistently drove home the point that he would not have benched Robert Griffin III if owner Daniel Snyder and general manager Bruce Allen were not "100 percent" on board.

quote:

Éminence grise John Madden, a bipedal football history exhibit, told SiriusXM NFL Radio on Wednesday he's never heard of the "ridiculous" notion that a football player would be "shut down" when he's healthy enough to play.

quote:

Regarding rampant speculation that he is goading the owner into letting him go, Shanahan reasoned, "If I'm trying to get fired, I'm not going to call up Dan Snyder and ask his opinion on what I should do." Shanahan then quipped maybe "I'll get that 12 to 15-year contract."

Why do Washington pro teams feel compelled to shut down perfectly healthy players?

Yeah, but to deactivate him for the rest of the season? Seems a bit much.

Shanny should've sat RG3 against the Seahawks. He's trying to make up for it now.

i think the "douche" label is found thrown at white QBs on the MSB at about a 5:1 clip compared to black QBs
