Yeah I feel the same way

But Seattle is shaping up to have a nice team in a few years. They really needed a bat to build around. Who better than Cano I guess

In terms of production, I think Arod easily was worth his first contract. But he was 25 when he signed that one, not 31 like Cano is.

This just screams dumb move. It will ne nice for 2-3 years then Cano will drop off like crazy and they're stuck with $180 million.

Its not like there aren't a myriad of examples to draw from here.
