Why is Landry not nominated for any awards?

Jarvis Landry has Hands of Velcro, Heart of Steel and he is the toughest wide receiver in LSU history. But he has not been nominated for any awards. The question is why?

This. To the people that just watch highlights of games or just the average fan, they think OBJ is better because he makes the "ohhh" plays. For people that really watch the game, Jarvis is a better overall WR, by a good bit too.
Honestly, there are only 2 WRs that I would take over Jarvis. Jordan Matthews from Vandy, and Mike Evans from TAMU. Thats it.

Because he does not play for a "video game" team... He and OBJ split 2400 yds of receptions to each ones detriment but for the greater good of the team.

on espn today was a countdown and discussion of landry's catch vs ark 2012. lots of good press and catch is ranked as one of espn's best!

If they nominate Jarvis Landry then they would also have to nominate Beckham. They don't want two receivers from the same school, even though i think Landry deserves an award.

I dunno. I really don't recall a better possesion receiver, you know, when you absolutely gotta have it. Even if the catch seems impossible.
