Is he even draftable?

What's the ceiling for him now? 3rd? 4th? He'll be pretty much IR'ed the first year most likely.

ETA: And it's 'affect' not 'effect.'

Considering it is his knee and not his arm, of course he is draftable.

Some smart team should be able to pick him up a round or two later than if he wasn't injured and that could be the best thing for his long term career. The 2nd contract is when guys make the $$$$$.

He can hardly move on pair of good legs, this injury does nothing to his draft stock!!!!

Zach was being giving a 1st round grade prior to this. He won't drop past the top of the 2nd round.

What? This isnt the 70s anymore Chad, hell be ready to go by training camp with todays medical advancements

He might take a redshirt season inthe league anyways though depending on where hes drafted

Likely due to rehab and being unable to participate in senior bowl and the combine, Mett will probably go from a late 1st early second to a late pick between rounds 5-7. Team will figure he can learn the system and rehab, and compete the following year. its a real shame for some one that has worked really hard, dedicated himself, and had arguably worked himself into a late first round/second round pick.

I saw draft preview that had him in the top 10 this week.

ESPN's NFL insider said he'd STILL consider Meet a first round draft pick.

He'll be fine.

His draft stock wasn't much to start with.

Chronic knee.
Slow as molasses
Hasn't shown any decent pocket awareness

Great powerful arm, and that's it.

Drops to 2 or 3. Saints pick him up.

Since mobility isn't a strong suit for Mett to begin with, it shouldn't hurt him too bad. He should still go in the top 2 rounds, and now more likely in the 2nd round.
