We send Gordon to Boston for Kris Humphries and Jared Sullinger

I like Sullinger, was sort of hoping they would draft him, and I like the idea of cap space but that feels like too little for me. Almost a tank idea. Gordon has been really good this year (still isnt converting at the rim well, but ive got faifth). I don't know if you trade a near 20 ppg scorer for this return.

Cap guys can correct me, but they should be able to get $10M or so for this summer. Should be enough under the new rules to get a decent big body and wing.

Actually like Hawes on this roster a lot. Not a big fan overall, but he makes sense with the guards and Davis and he's big enough to bang. And throwing money at Jeffrey Taylor or Draymond Green might be worth it. Weird 2nd rd pick rules, but you never know. Alan Anderson would be another guy to think about.

Deveney also writes that Joakim Noah still has high value around the league despite his battles with injury over the last few seasons. The Knicks would appear to be another logical landing spot for the 6’11 center, although the Pelicans, Thunder, and Mavericks are expected to be in pursuit should the Bulls place Noah on the trading block.

Next season Holiday/Gordon/Evans/Anderson/Davis/Rivers/Withey = $53.9 million
+ 5 $500K roster holds = $56.4

Getting such little return for Gordon is really the only way to have any kind of cap space if cap space is your goal. I'm still not sure how I feel about Tyreke as SG. Ball dominating bench scorer driving and kicking to Ryno seems like a great role for him. If we could get a low priced 3 and D 20 MPG SG I might be more comfortable. Maybe Darius Miller could be that guy.
