It wasn't just one game, it's their whole team. I think I counted 57 guys on the roster in the Rummel game. Shaw has one of the top 20 high school rugby teams in the country right now, and I assume that with the small numbers, several guys who could contribute to football are instead on the rugby pitch.

that is correct... not too mention Shaw since the hammering in 2001 is scared out of there skull to do what some other schools are doing.

changing demographics on the west bank is a HUGE factor - for catholic schools as a whole... not just shaw...

and shaw has NEVER pulled from east bank.. but a kid that starts for another catholic league school - but lives where he can smell the cafeteria food at shaw...

the effort being put in a shaw is commendable though.

better/easier transportation routes across the river have hurt a little too....especially going to river ridge/severn....

I am still surprised how they recovered from the debacle in 2002....
