The Aminu hate is beyond me. Aminu has averaged 8 and 7 FGA/36 the last two seasons. Dude knows his limits on offense. And he's actually been better with the ball in his hands than I thought he could be.

He's still 23. Playing defense at this level is about more than effort, despite what high school coaches say. It takes time for young guys to figure it out- even Davis has lapses frequently.

As far as starting him, it depends on the matchup. Chicago is a bad idea because of Boozer. I doubt Monty starts him at all, but he probably needs to stagger the guard minutes so Evans isnt left playing 1 on 5.

AA should never have been on the floor with Davis and Smith bc that allowed defenses to pack it in (3 guys who are no threat behind the 3pt).

Now that Davis will be out for an extended time. AA's role should increase dramaticslly. He actually would be the best player to fill an AD type role bc their skill sets are the most similar (i am not saying he is near the player that Davis is but he is by far our best defender and offensive RB if allowed to play under the goal).

AA should just be moved to PF permanently IMO bc he just doesnt have the offensive skills to play SF.

His D and rebounding make him a valuable guy. He really is.

And everyone is spot on. His problem at the 4 would be the big guys. But in some situations I think it would work. The next couple of weeks are going to take some creativity with the lineups.
