Didn't read any responses but as a mom of 3 my gut reaction is that EVERYONE gets a trophy these days and EVERYONE is a winner and kids just do NOT know how to lose.

Very good point!! I coached little league for many years and tried to change the "every kid gets a trophy" BS, but every year I got out voted by the asst coaches.....
