I have a bit of a problem maybe the wise OB'ers can educate me on. I dug up some water lines under my deck over the summer. Its a joint where one line splits off into 3. There is still a pretty big hole with the lines exposed and the hole in now full of water.
Will the lines being submerged in water be more protected than if exposed?

Water is one of the best insulators. I would let the water stay in the hole.
