I have no problem with it. I think it has become the rant's symbol for not living up to (their personal) expectations.

Agreed. I felt it was a let down last season, but I generally have no problem with the bowl.

A combination of the name, LSU going there 3 times under miles, the matchup against an uninteresting ACC opponent, and the feeling of disappointment at not getting a better bowl.

We thought we should get Cotton last year.

2005 we should've gotten CapOne or Cotton or really an at-large BCS although I understand bowl tie-ins didn't allow it.

2008 was th end of a mediocre season.

I like the bowl better than a New Years daytime bowl, but it really needs to be the Peach Bowl again.

Exactly. It was money when LSU rolled up da U and destroyed their program. It is more recently viewed as a symbol of underachievement when derpbo sweeney comes back from 12 down in the 4th and beats LSU on NYE.

I was there too.
