It comes from LSU getting passed over by bigger bowls several times recently and always ending up in the chik fila. Its not only up to the bowls, the SEC office has considerable say in negotiating who goes where, and recently they havent cared much about putting LSU in bowls we deserve. I remember Skip Bertman talking about this when he was AD.
