Is there something up with Hill & Copeland are they in the doghouse?

Look I understand that Hill had the most carries of any other back 14, but it just seems like he is not being featured like he was in the first half of the season. Is it wear and tear on his body limiting him or maybe because Miles knows he is gone and giving Magee more touches to get him ready for next year or did he do something to get in Miles dog-house?

But it just seems that there might be an underlying reason Hill is not getting more touches. Copeland it definitely looks like he is in the dog-house because no way Neighbors should start over Copeland.

Only the shadow (CLM) knows. It does defy logic sometimes but I've given up trying to figure out why some people are playing and others aren't. JC could still be paying for that fumble 2weeks ago.....I wouldn't be surprised!!!

Magee started well and Miles wanted to run, run, run. Saved Hill, and he wasn't needed, so others got some carries. IMHO Magee ran harder.

Copeland.is explosive, but Neighbors is more consistent. Copeland may be nicked.

Typical Miles, rb by committee. And I am about to get on the Neighbors train with Miles. He is killing it out there, Copeland may have lost his starting spot.

Correct. The most carries of any RB.

Possibly. More likely, though, it's to prevent wear and tear on his body. Whether for later in the game or for the rest of his career - Hill wasn't needed as much in this game. Plus, the other RBs were playing GREAT.

Three things: 1. Neighbors is an absolute beast. Maybe you haven't noticed that. 2. Copeland fumbled at the 1 yard line and completely changed the momentum against our biggest rival in the biggest game of the season. 3. Copeland may be nicked up. Don't know.

The way Hill misses a quarter here and a quarter there, i'd speculate it has something to do with the off season altercation.

Miles was wanting to run the ball straight at them. Hill has admitted that he has trouble resisting the urge to try and voice it outside. With A&M stopping everything outside and Magee running so well up the middle it just made sense to give Magee some of Hills carries

Shea Dixon tweeted this last night... fwiw

Les Miles said Jeremy Hill is fine. He said the coaches just liked Terrence Magee's work. He finished with 149 yards and a TD.

Miles put Copeland in the dog house after the fumble. I don't understand why he was quick to do that but he couldn't pull Jefferson in '11. He seems biased towards certain players IMO

I gave up trying to figure out how Les rotates his RBs years ago. I would advise most to do the same.

People give shite to MIles not keeping with the hot hand.

Magee was ripping runs, and he decided to stay with Magee.

I think he tweaked an ankle. I may be wrong but I swore I saw him limping a little after a play late.

Magee is a better back than Hill and that showed last night. Neighbors and Copeland are both beasts at the FB position and are somewhat interchangeable. Neighbors has been playing more consistently than Copeland of late.

The coaching staff finally recognizing these facts led to a great looking win against aTm. Just think how different the season would have been had Magee been getting the lion share of touches.

Dudebro
What is the true motive of your post here today? We just won a huge game and did it in dominating fashion. This was exactly the kind of game LSU needed and they delivered.

Hill got the start and the game plan was obviously to run early and often. He had an entire gameplan built for him. He was set up to have a huge game against this weak defense. He didnt get the job done. I love Hill but it was Magee's day yesterday He gave CLM what he was wanting from the RB position. He's a good kid and sometimes just a little different angle or speed(change of pace)makes all the difference. Kudos for the coaches to make this change and it worked from play 1.
Neighbors played great and was a big reason we ran all over A&M and kept their reigning Heisman winner on the bench.
But yet you are concerned about 44 being in the doghouse? Who cares why he didnt play more. This is a congratulations day; not a what if day?
