I did that too. I just knew Luis Flores or whatever was a good player and made my pick off that. Then the year they lost to Vermont (05 I think), I had Syracuse going to the finals.

With a healhty Ricky Williams and another year under Aaron Brooks' belt, the Saints were gonna make a strong playoff run in 2001...

I loved Flores
I think they beat Florida in the tourney the next year and I didn't feel as dumb

Zona did that to me in the 1990s. They'd been a major upset victim a couple of times so I picked them to get knocked off in the first round. They won the title
