Mike Pereira ?@MikePereira 1m
My thoughts..Since the flag was thrown they should have stayed with the call. There was clear contact before the ball was intercepted. More.

Mike Pereira ?@MikePereira 40s
You could make a case that the pass might have been uncatachable, but the flag was thrown and you should stay with it. My thoughts

The only reason ball was even close to uncatchable is because gronk was held out of being able to make his way back onto the ball

It was a terrible fricking no call

Mike Pereira is so much better than Gerry Austin is on ESPN. Way clearer and more definitive with his descriptions

Gerry Austin > Pereira

One of these guys officiated multiple super bowls, the other was a side judge for 2 years.

I have never found anything that I could disagree with MP on when thinking rationally. Ever.

Contact is 4 yards deep and ball is 4 yards deep.

ESPN had a retired SB Referee in the studio and that was his take on the play.

This is seriously obviously not pass interference, and you're all a bunch of idiots. No troll. Completely serious. Read the rules and cite the infraction.

Reminds me of the LSU/Auburn game several years ago when the LSU receiver got mugged and a flag was thrown but they over turned the call because an Auburn defender deflected the pass.
