Who cares? The guy had decent success at Stanford and brought LSU to the second round of the tournament. He's a decent coach who didn't work out well at LSU, but you can't argue the hit after his success at Stanford. Obviously, I'm sure he wish he did better at LSU, but he wasn't a good fit. There is no need to rag him for his Tcu performance - the graveyard of successful collegiate athletics.

Worst hire in the history of LSU athletics, couldn't and wouldn't recruit for some reason, and could not coach a lick. He won with Brady's healthy players. Then went on the worst three year run in LSU bb history. His idea of building a program was a joke and will do the same at TCU. He is lucky I will give him that for convincing TCU to give him a raise. Look what CJJ has done in one year compared to TJ. For the record anyone could have won with the Lopez twins. Which he was lucky to get cause their mother worked there.

I would hope so considering he was coaching two lottery pick twin 7 footers. He had spent his entire coaching career on the west coast and his only major conference experience was coaching at a high academic school so he had no recruiting contacts and refused help from guys like CT2. He was not a charismatic figure which we needed after John Brady. It was a bad fit from the start.

no, Trent is not a decent coach. He's one of the worst in a major conference. He's potentially one of the worst coaches LSU has ever had in a big 3 sport.
