Also looks like only one of us from the "Caolinas" can advance, which means that he second best team in the region might not play in the Sweet Sixteen.

well there isn't a sweet 16 any longer. Just a Round of 8. All conferences only qualify 1 team, so you either gotta beat them on Saturday or beat them on Sunday.

May 17-18:
Eastern (Pittsburgh):
Quarterfinal 1:Midwest v Mid-Atlantic
Quarterfinal 2:Southern v Atlantic North

Western (Dallas):
Quarterfinal 3:Pacific North v Red River
Quarterfinal 4:Pacific South v Frontier

Semis on 5/18

National Final on either 5/31 or 6/1 in Madison, WI.

Oh, well I was laboring under the assumption that they kept the old playoff system. I guess I was wrong.

So here's what happening. We play Charlotte @ Charlotte next week. Winner is CA1, loser is CA2.

CA1 & CA2 play in the Southern Championships, which currently shows them playing each other (per the True South site), with True South 1 playing Florida 1. This, of course may (or should) change.

The True South's page and the USA Rugby page present conflicting information regarding whether it's 1 or 2 teams that advance to Pittsburgh. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
