Lol, that's a bit funny. I was surprised yall didnt put up more on them. Guess the Quins really did get better. Nothing like taking the smile away from 2 teams at the same time.

Knew the boat had to arrive for the Blacks. Saw their scoreline against HARC and was shocked.

I have a question... if rugby was very popular here and NFL athletes were playing rugby instead of football, do you think the U.S. would dominate the sport?

If Rugby were played here instead of American Football then yeah I'd imagine we'd be pretty damn good. They say the same thing in Australia were Aussie Rules Football is the most popular code and Union is even behind League in terms of football codes there.

But between the US and Canada I'd say it's getting more popular here.

How would Adrian Peterson do in rugby? Would his skills translate?

I imagine he'd be good but rugby really is a different sport. Peterson just runs with the ball now, in rugby he'd have to learn to pass and to play defense as well.

It's a two game, home-and-away series, with the winner by aggregate score.

Since the first game was a tie, USA needs to win, by any margin, this weekend in Atlanta.

They need to play a lot better. They were lucky to tie last week.

Looks like the new European Cup is going to be confirmed in the next couple days. BT and Sky just reached an agreement over v rights, and there are rumors that Italy signed on yesterday.

ETA:

This is in Glasgow. Really important match, being that Glasgow has a couple matches in hand over Ospreys.

Unfortunately, Ospreys have suffered a few more injuries (added to the ones we've been dealing with since the 6 Nations ended), so the American/SouthAfrican/Welshman is getting a start, although he's pretty terrible.

Carlin Isles is getting the start at wing for Ayr in the Scottish Premiership. Interesting to see how he does in his first high level 15s match.

Good deal, I figured they'd get something done. A European competition is too important for the NH to not have one.

Yeah it seems almost every teams starting 15 has been affected by 6N injuries. Still it looks a great slate of games for this weekend though!

Cool! I was hoping he would be playing today so I can check him out.

Yep.

And frick everything. Ospreys just capitulated with four minutes to go. Let them score to go up by two, and then fell asleep at the restart and allowed Glasgow to run it in practically untouched.

Oh, and we lost two more players to probably season-ending injuries.

ETA: Second try disallowed for a knock-on. Ospreys still lose.

Ospreys 1 point up in the table, but Glasgow's got two matches in hand.

Got my picture made with the Webb Ellis Cup.

Talked to Mike Tolkin about defensive philosophy.

Talked to the COO of USA Rugby. We look to be close to a sellout this afternoon.

Had too much Four Roses...

There are a few pictures of me on the USA Rugby facebook page now.

Pumped about this afternoon. Gonna be a good time.

Also, Old White now has an ex-Falcon playibg #8.
